You Make Me Happy

I love crafting with clouds. I think they can be so cute and fluffy! When I made this card Stampin' Up had not come out with a cloud set yet (that I know of), but I found this awesome embossing folder at my local craft store and knew I had to get it.

I cut the grey clouds out of paper I had embossed and then layered on a white embossed piece. So cute!

Brighten My Day

What a beautiful day! The sun finally came out for a couple hours and my garden beds are starting to come alive. I love seeing baby buds popping up knowing they are going to be gorgeous flowers very soon!

Anyway, here is a card I made for a card exchange for a local Stampin' Up gathering. This was a bonus set and I really had fun with it. We have an electrician in the family so I know I will use this set!

The card is actually very sparkly, but it was impossible (for me) to get this in the picture. Everything is always better in person :)

Have a great day!

Thank You

This card I demonstrated for one of our Stampin' Up monthly meetings. I think it is cute and simple. Plus it made use of one of the free products.

I really like the stamps that have multiple layers. Stampin' Up has made a couple of these multi-layer stamps with mostly flowers. Mixing different tones and colors creates endless possibilities!

Hope you like it and have a great day!

Just a Note

This is one of the very first cards I ever made. I was in college and just starting to get my feet wet with card making. I have to say, this is such a cute card for how simplistic it is. It really looks like the crafty equation of a cork board, with the cute little brads as push pins. Hope you like it too!

Have a great day!

Honey of a Day

This is a really cute card I made a while back when I was on a bee kick. I love how detailed the stamp is. Also the background stencil is so versatile. I used it for honeycomb here, but it could be any sort of accent to make a cool card.

Hope you like it!

Happy Birthday Balloons 3

I have been on a Birthday Card kick recently. Can you tell?

This one I made just for fun. I wanted to try using the purple and brown combo. I think it turned out okay. A good guy card I think.

Happy Birthday Balloon 2

I have had so much fun with this Balloon stamp set!

This card I only used one color and I really like how it turned out! I could add any sentiment and it would still work.

I demonstrated this card at our Stampin' Up meeting a while back and I think people liked it. It was fun to make. Hope you like it!

World's Greatest Guy

I am in love with the new travel themed products from Stampin' Up.

This card I made for Hubs for Valentine's Day. He thought it was cute.

It is a very appropriate card since I think he is the World's Greatest Guy. Love you babe!

Happy Birthday Balloons

This is a very cute card. The background is based on this design but I changed a few things. I tried to go for a more neutral color pallet and I used the "Happy" die that I love so much.

This balloon stamp set is so versatile. Love it!

Happy Birthday Wood

I love this card! It is based on a card I found on Pinterest and fell in love with. I changed the angle of the "boards" and tweaked it a bit. For the life of me I cannot find the original designer. If you find the website please send it to me so I can give them credit!

I gave this to Hubs on his birthday. I think it turned out really good. It was a bit of work, but worth it!

I love the "Happy" die cut. Very cute and whimsy.

Make a Wish

This is a simple card, but cute. I made this as a birthday card for my mom one year.

I have a love-hate relationship with Washi Tape. Used right it is a cute accent, other times it cheapens the card. I think I did a good job with it here. What do you think?

Let me take a moment to say that I LOVE any stamp set that has splatter! Always a great addition to almost any card!

Gracias

Hubs and I got married last May in Mexico! As a thank you to my wonderful wedding planner I sent her a card when I got back to the States. I wanted to do something more personal than an email. It took a while to get there, but she was very appreciative.

Stampin' Up offers a lot of their stamps in French and Spanish. I thought it was a nice gesture.

Sending Smiles

I am very excited about starting this new blog!

For my first post I thought I would share a card I came up with just for fun. It is an everyday, feel-good card that could be sent for any number of sentiments. I hope you like it!
