I really like the Halloween Themed washi tape that Stampin' Up came out with this year! Especially the shiny bats! This is a really simple card and I used the stamps from the September Paper Pumpkin kit too!
Hope you like it!

Paper Pumpkin September 2016
The Paper Pumpkin journey continues!
This kit was getting you ready for fall and halloween so of course I was super excited to open it! The original plan is to make little candy tube with tags. Cute idea, but I was not thrilled with the tags as most of it was already printed. There was very little stamping options.
Now let me tell you what I love ... the pumpkin stamp! It is so cute!! It is a layering stamp so it takes a couple stamps to make one pumpkin, but I'm in love. I think the the whole box is worth it just for the little pumpkin!
Anyway, this is what I came up with:
Apparently I had a theme going! I hope you like the cards and have a great day!

CYCI Challenge #138
My first challenge! I came across this challenge from Can You Case It?
They do a challenge every Sunday.
This came at a perfect time since I finally started catching up on some projects including my Paper Pumpkin subscription boxes (I still have a few to do!) So, this post is also a sneak peek of the June 2016 Paper Pumkin post!
Here it is!
As usual I did not follow the original design that came with the Paper Pumpkin subscription. I made it my own, a la me!
I hope you like it!

May 2016
I am very new to the Paper Pumpkin scene, in fact, this is only my second month. So, I have not formed a thorough opinon of the service ... sort of.
If you are new to the idea of Paper Pumpkin I will give you a quick update. It is a mail subscription through Stampin' Up with one project to complete each month. It includes everything you need to do it, and it can be anything from cards to a 3D project. For example, last December was a calendar for the next year. The subscription (of course) uses only Stampin' Up materials.
So far I am having fun with it, but I am not really following the directions ...
This months project was a set of cards with a really cool laser cut pattern. The kit included a Pumpkin Pie (orange) crimped paper, the laser cut folded card, embellishments (Pool Party), a stamp set, and Night of Navy ink mini. I chose not to use Night of Navy because I did not think it matched at all. Yup, I'm a rebel.
Here are the cards I cam up with:
Not bad, but I felt I could make something cuter. So I used the rest of the materials and had some fun! I tried to use all of the materials I could, but I was not a fan of the orange, sorry!
Anyhoo, here are the cards I came up with:
Honestly, this was super fun because my challenge was to take the original basic design elements and make them my own! So fun!
I did this whole crafty project with my Stampin' Up demonstrator, and you can see her cards at Craftier Creations.

My Everything
I recently subscribed to Paper Pumpkin, a monthly craft/card subscription through Stampin' Up. There was a deal through the company that you would get an extra "exclusive" stamp set for signing up at that time. I am not a huge fan of my first box (a paper wreath), but I really love the extra stamp set.
I decided to go for a palm tree theme (I love this color by the way - Mossy Meadow) since I had warm sandy beaches on my mind. the "palm trees" are actually one leaf stamp that I stamped over and over with different amounts of ink. Turned out pretty cool. I especially like the words. The font is so whimsy and fun!
Hopefully next month's Paper Pumpkin is a little better.
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Paper: Whisper White, Mossy Meadow
