This is a very cool project we did at our Stampin' Up monthly get together. It is a book filled with pockets for each month of the year to hold birthday cards!
It has a month schedule on each page so you can write in birthdays and plan ahead. You could come up with birthday cards for the whole year if you want!
This is a perfect way to keep track of birthday cards that you make for a specific person. Plus it keeps you organized.
This idea was originally from Patty Stamps, which is a really cool blog of all sorts of ideas and tutorials. My demonstrator also did a post on her blog Craftier Creations. She made the pages bigger and thicker so they can hold more cards. It's hard to tell from my pictures, but you can tell from hers.

Lost Without You
It has been several days since my last post! I've been super busy, you know how life gets, and neglected my blog. Sorry!
Now I am back and with a really cool card!
I am totally in love with the Going Global stamp set from Stampin' Up. Anything with a map or travel theme is totally up my alley. This one is especially cute because it is geared toward cards for special someones.
Love it!

The Two
Wedding season is fast approaching and it is always good to give a homemade card. We have a couple weddings this summer that we are very excited about!
This card I made last summer when this stamp set came out. I really like the lace background stamp. It came out so clear that it looks like pre-printed paper.

Xbox Eggs
For Easter the hubs and I made a pact to give each other baskets that contained only a little candy. This was a challenge for both of us since candy is the easiest thing to buy around Easter.
I saw these Craft Eggs at the store and decided to paint a couple in different Xbox themed game logos. The hubs is an avid gamer, so I knew he would love it!
I am not a super skilled painter, but these turned out pretty good!
I am pretty proud of them.
Hubs loved them, which was the point. I also had a lot of fun splattering paint. I wanted them to still look like real eggs as much as possible, so I added a lot of color variation and speckling.
The logos are:
Assassins Creed
Halo (2)
Xbox
Destiny
Fallout
The Fallout one is my favorite <3
I hope you had a great Easter!
